| Randy Laird,
a Class "A" Licensed General Contractor, virtually grew up in
the building business! Born and raised in Battle Creek, Michigan, Randy
is the fourth generation of custom home builders for the Laird family.
After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction
at Michigan State University, Randy moved to Florida and began his 27
year career as a builder in the Tampa Bay area. Randy has designed and
built a vast selection of custom homes, ranging in concept from 2,000
sq. ft. to 12,000 sq. ft.. While his most recent work may be viewed in
the Historic NE St. Petersburg area, and the SoHo District of Tampa, other
examples can be found on Clearwater Beach, at the Bayou Club, at Cypress
Run Country Club.
Randy enjoys every phase of the custom home building process, from design
to the detailed finished product. His meticulous attention to construction
detail, coupled with his complete awareness of the myriad of rules and
regulations from the various governing agencies, insures complete customer
satisfaction - Randy’s number one goal!
Randy is a member of the Tampa Bay Builders Association, Florida Home
Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders. Randy
is a member of the 2-10 Home Buyer Warranty Program and a licensed commercial
pool contractor. He monitors the constantly changing building world through
the various industry publications he receives weekly, researching new
products and techniques prior to implementation on one of his homes.
Randy lives in one of his earlier homes with his wife, an ice skating
instructor (yes, in Florida!). Their daughter is at University of Central
Florida, studying to be an elementary school teacher.
