Ed Henderson

Ed graduated from University of Central Arkansas with a BS in 1982. He has been involved in the Florida construction industry since moving to the Tampa Bay area in 1983, and is presently a state certified general contractor and President of Henderson Contracting, Inc. ...a company specializing in construction management and construction of residential properties. Ed is also a Florida certified mold technician and is working toward national certification as a residential home inspector.

He spent over 10 years managing construction sites for one of the top 5 large national production home builders. In addition, he has built completely custom homes over 8,500 square feet in size.

Being the 5th generation in his family to make carpentry/contracting a career has special meaning for Ed. His philosophy is to take "pride in craftsmanship because it's the quality that counts - not how many you do, but how well you do each one". He reads trade journals to keep up to date on changing products, technologies, codes and "healthy home" safety issues. He feels communication is the most important service tool that we provide our customers.

A resident of Palm Harbor for over 20 years, Ed has two daughters, the oldest a junior at USF majoring in environmental and political science, and the younger starting Palm Harbor University High in the fall of 2004.
